I really would like to get my DS into the first Jedi training show due to my reservations for the rest of the day. I am guessing that if we arrive early and stay to the left before opening then continue to stay to the left for the RD show and proceed to the sign up as soon as they drop the rope, it would be my best chances? Does that make sense? does anybody have any words of wisdom or advice on how to accomplish my goal? Exactly where should we stand to be at the front of the crowd?

Stand at the rope that leads to the walkway next to where the American Idol screen is located. Stay on that walkway and after you pass the busts and the merchandise location, the sign-ups will be on your right. If you make it to the restrooms, you have gone too far.

Have they switched where they sign the kids up since February? I thought we passed the bathrooms on the right on the way?

Sign-ups are in the ABC Sound Studio/Sounds Dangerous building. The restrooms are located between the sign-up area and the JTA stage.

Perfect. Thank you!

I did this Friday. Definitely get there early. They started letting us in at about 8:50, but by then there was a huge line. We got there around 8, so we were at the front. Stay to the left. They have a rope blocking entrance to the rest of the park by the hat. There were about 4 CMs waiting on the left with a sign for JTA. After the welcome show, they said to walk with them, so it was more orderly (otherwise I wouldn't have stood a chance with my 3 kids and stroller which had to be parked). Make sure the parent and any kids are present because they won't let you in the building to get in line to sign up if everyone is not present (you can't just meet up in line).

Great! Thanks for the info on your experience! I will look for the CMs with the sign and get as close as possible!
