DHS Radiator Springs

the cars ride from california doesn't work in florida...at least in its current form.

The lines have been gigantic and the capacity has to be much higher in florida...not only that...but the florida weather is much harder on ride systems than anaheim.

Your comment on the harsh Fla. weather made me think (always dangerous).
The California climate would be more Radiator Springs-like. Does anyone remember (sorry, being lazy here) if it ever rains in the movie? If not, then besides the weather just being harder on ride systems, all that tropical moisture doesn't fit with the theming very well.

(Just ignore the snow at BOG and in that "other" theme park, which also doesn't fit with Florida weather.)

I was more referring to high temperatures, high humidity (nearly year round), and the famous mid afternoon downpours....

It's wreaked hell on test track... And I fear radiator springs would suffer perhaps a worse fate

Keep some of the street/building set of the stunt show and make a CARS2 ride. They drove through the streets of Europe and England and not the desert in that movie!

I don't feel they need Radiator Springs Racers in Florida because we already have Test Track. They are the basically the same ride, plus it's cool to have some exclusive things on each coast.

I could see adding a different Cars attraction to Pixar Place, something a little smaller. That could work well.

a Monster's Inc or Monster University attraction would be great at Pixar Place. I could see the door factory/warehouse in Monsters Inc. being done with same type of 4d platform like Spiderman at US/IOA. Spidey is a fantastic attraction and would lend itself to 'riding' doors throught the conveyor system in monsters inc.

of course, disney would have to come up with a 'new' way of accomplishing the same sort of effect as Spidey with regards to technology.

I think a Pixar Land would be more in step with H.S. The parks aside from MK need more rides tied into them. AK, HS and Epcot have 2 maybe 3 rides that pull the crowds. I Think a Monsters Inc scare floor tie in, or even if you want something like a Radiator Springs, but do it from a Toy Story tie in, you ride in RC on a slot car course through Andy's Room against another car. There is so much potential. I still don't understand how they have not tied Wall-e into some kind of attraction in Epcot. :confused3
