DHS / MFSR logistical questions

A few questions for my trip starting the 2nd week of March:

1) for a 8:00 opening that I plan on entering security line around 6:40 does it make a big difference if I have a bag and go through the bag line vs. the no bag line (looking to RD SDD).

2) for MFSR: is there a posted wait time for the single rider line and if so (or even if not) what is the approximate wait time vs. standby (half the time?).

3) If my 10 year old and I go through the single rider line, with me going first, is there any worry about not meeting up after the ride; do all the exiting riders sort of immediately re-file together then head out?

1. Bag check goes fairly quickly, maybe 5 min when it's busy, if you need a bag, take it since you're planning on getting there so early anyways 2. SR does not have a posted wait time and thre cm don't know what the wait time will be since it depends on the number configuration of standby groups
3. There are 4 staircases that you can come out from your pod. Plan to meet at the actual exit of the building by the falcon

It should also be noted, just in case you’re unaware, if going through single rider you will only get to be engineer. Just want to mention to keep in mind. If you’re getting there early and rope drop and just do regular standby and DON’T volunteer as single rider, you have a better chance of being a pilot, you’re kid too.

Most of the time. I've gotten gunner as well. SR guests cannot pick a position

Oh good point. Sorry. I think someone once told me SR always are engineers. Probably just cause they don’t get to pick
