DHS lunch

Hi,
Looking for some opinions. We are traveling to WDW 10/18-24 so we will have Free dining. I currently have a lunch reservation at 50's Prime Time Cafe. We ate there last year it was OK. I am looking for a lunch place either TS or CS it doesn't seem to have many options. We can't consider Brown Derby 2 small kids. Thanks for any suggestions

Maybe Sci-Fi or Mama Melrose for TS choices. I always like Backlot Express when I go to DHS for a CS.

We ate at the Brown Derby last year and the restaurant was full of small children, including our own. It was great and the food was very good. I don't recommend Hollywood and Vine. I just don't think the food is all that great. I agree with pp that Mama Melrose is very good. I also like the Pizza place.

I would say leave the park and go to the Boardwalk or Beaches & Cream

If you have 2 little ones, how about Hollywood & Vine for lunch with the Playhouse Disney characters? That's what we chose.

50's Primetime and Sci-Fi are 2 of our very favorite restaurants at WDW!!! Good food and fantastic theming at both!!! Our kids really love them both too!

Sci-Fi used to be way better as far as quality goes...it kinda has dropped a bit recently. But you are correct about the theming, they are both good.

We had lunch at Sci Fi and the burgers were delish, the setting is so cool and it is the quietest TS in WDW....

My problem at DHS, is always which ADRs to make. We love Sci-Fi, 50s Prime Time, Hollywood & Vine and I have tried to roll into the Brown Derby or Mama's for the Fantasmic package but I always revert to H&V.

Go to sci-fi. My 4 year olds loved it. They kept on asking when can we go bacvk to the resturant with the cars.
