DHS-Frozen Summer Fun: worth a day and a half?

The only Frozen Fireworks on our entire trip will be on arrival day. We won't make it to DHS till 3-4pm, will we have enough time to experience most of the summer fun and DHS itself in half a day? Is it worth burning another full day at DHS? We only have 5 park days and already planning multiple days for MK.
