I am a huge fan of evening EMHs. The parks at night are just so magical. For me, the later the better, even with my little ones. I plan my park days against all sage advice to hit the EMH of each park without park hoppers. I just got back on Sunday and wanted to share that with all the ride closures that the EMH at DHS is simply not worth it. The higher crowds during the day and lack of rides made the EMH pretty useless. I still think that DHS is a full park day, but at night the only thing you can really do are the rides since the shows are done for the day. The lines for TSMM, ToT and RnR were ridiculously long since there really isn't much more to do. One plus though was the dance party 
We happened upon it and my 2 yo ran in and started dancing like he had disco fever! Definitely a highlight of our trip. Mickey and Minnie were there too, and when Minnie saw my birthday button she gave me the biggest hug and kiss!! It was so unexpected and wonderful. So unless you are a huge fan of the dance party, I'd definitely skip it.
