Well, My DH let one of his co-workers borrow the planning DVD about 1 month ago...(they are leaving Tomorrow evening for WDW)

DH told me today the the co-worker finally "got around" to looking at the DVD... The co-worker did not KNOW there were FOUR separate parks at WDW... :confused3

They will be there from Thurs. Eve. until Tuesday over Easter weekend...I can only imagine the crowds they will encounter & what their opinon of WDW will be since the family failed to plan..

Oh boy.....should be an interesting trip!

Actually I've found out alot of people don't know there are four parks. Many times when someone asked me about our trip and I start talking about different parks they stop me and say "I thought it was only one park, how many are there?" Of course, no one who was leaving to go there the next day has ever asked me that! LOL!

geez, the 1st time i went it was Easter weekend and the week after that simply because it was the only time me & my parents could go; back then it was only 3 parks, and that alone was really really bad. so bad in fact, that as a 9 year old, i had no desire to ever return to WDW again. needless to say i quickly got over that. :cloud9: but Easter weekend is rough, let alone not knowing there are 4 parks. all i have to say is good luck; they'll definitely need it. :wizard:

Then again.....there is that old saying "Ignorance is bliss."

Maybe if they don't know what their missing, then they won't feel bad they missed it!

True story....I did ALL the planning for our big family trip in December. My brother and SIL were relatively clueless about Disney, not completely, but definite newbies. On the day of the MVMCP, I wanted to get to MK about 3 or 4pm so we could hit Adventureland, BTMRR and Splash Mountain. Of course it didn't work out that way and we didn't get there til about 6pm...so we never made it...the whole trip...into Adventureland AT ALL...No Tiki Birds, no Aladdin's Magic Carpets, no POTC! (Shocking, I know!) -- about a week after we got home I mentioned POTC and my brother goes "Too bad that isn't there anymore." He wouldn't believe me when I said it was and I had to pull out a park map and show him! Now, 3 months later he is STILL mad we didn't go to Adventureland, but had I kept my mouth shut, he never even would have know he missed it! :rotfl:

I feel your pain. Friends of ours left yesterday and plan to stay in a Disney hotel.

Mind you, they hadn't made any room reservations prior to leaving. :earseek:

But they're planning on staying in a Disney hotel. :rotfl:
