LMA is little loss compared to the footprint. It was a good enough show I guess - only saw it once. I'm sure there are those that love it, but not too many that would defend that the space could be used better.

I know that the claim is Star Wars land doesn't go back that way, but when I look at a map, I see everything surrounding (even in front of) MuppetVision 3D is closed. I wonder if we are going to hear about them closing this in the next few weeks. I guess what I'm saying is it wouldn't surprise me.

MuppetVision is supposed to be safe because of the Muppet Mini-land. I really don't think we see that theater close yet if at all.

Then add in Catastrophe Canyon behind it. All of the backstage areas and more. We are looking at around 30 acres of land to work with.
If you include everything up to the mouse water tower, you get about 20 acres. I can post an image when I finish uploading to photobucket.

Then add in SoA because that will be closing. Muppets is safe tho.

That's sounds about right...if they are saying "18 acres" for Star Wars...then they would need probably 10 ish acres for backstage/service area...bout right

Wow you're getting optimistic! Disney said 14 acres for Star Wars. ;) Toy Story is rumored to be around 10-11 acres.

Im so glad the show is going. I hated it.

Doesn't this change what we thought about the expansions though? We thought LMA was part of a 3rd unannounced expansion which i thought they would leave until after Toy Story or Star Wars land was done at least.

Do we think that it means either Star Wars and Toy Story going in that area?

I wonder if Indiana Jones is going to get a reboot that the IP may remain in the park.

No this area is said to be staging for both lands rather than where the actual lands will go.

Even if they closed Muppet 3D, that would still leave the Pizza Planet/Mama Melrose building in the middle of everything, and we know this isn't going anywhere.

Earful Tower, Wattos Grotto, HISTK playground, studio catering, monsters inc. meet all closing as well.
