DHS' Club Disney To Close February 6th

that's sad but I expected it, every time I went in the place was empty, and it's such a great idea. I've never seen kids and adults as happy. The location is what killed it.
It's still showing on the schedule though :confused3

doctordisney.com is reporting CMs have confirmed Club Disney will close next week - a few weeks earlier than planned.

The Club had resorted to sending characters outside to draw guests in but that apparently didn't work.

This makes me very sad...For our autistic son this was the best time he had the whole week we were there. In fact so much so that we split a day at Epcot just so we could back. I don't even want to tell him that we won't be going back again this coming trip for his 5th birthday at the end of Feb. :sad2: :sad1::sad:

So true. We went to HS in December and I couldn't even find the place. Even the CM's didn't know what I was talking about. :hyper:

Bummer! We went in Dec and thought it was fabulous. The dance floor was fun (for my kids and me) and the comfy seating with cell phone charging stations was a great place to take a break while the kids kept dancing and/or "painting".

That's too bad--we really enjoyed it. Nice character interaction and couches and chairs for the adults!

Seriously?? We were going to take the little there on Wed, while the adults rode TOT & RNR... dang it!

We really enjoyed it last time as well. It was a great place for the littles to play, hang out, while a few adults rode rrc and tot. Sadly, it was very empty when we were there as well. I wouldn't have known where and what is was if I hadn't read it on this board. I can see why is struggled to attract people.

Our dd4 loved it when we were there a few weeks ago. Being able to closely interact with the characters was great for her.

Exactly, we weren't trying to go to it but we still didn't see where it was. What a long running attraction

We never made it there in December because we went to the Christmas dance party and then the Disney Junior one during extra magic hours. I'm bummed it wasn't popular enough to stay though.

Thought it was so cute. We were all adults but went to rest, charge our phones and watch. It wasn't crowded like I expected. The theater is such a great idea and it's ability to change up so creative, but the location .... not good for this type of thing. Most families with young kids are not heading over to Rock n Roller Coaster area.

Thanks for posting that they added a closing date - we are going over there on the 2nd and I was watching to see when it would close - the grands will LOVE this!

So disappointed in this!!! Our 1 year old had a blast here last week and with the park closing so many attractions, what is the harm in keeping it open?

Rumor is a new offering will be new offering in this location. They did cancel the March club villain dining so they have something in the works for this venue.

We're all hoping it's for the SW show people auditioned for months ago. :)
