Is this a must see? I planned on going, but during our trip in Aug it seems that it has EMH or Fantasmic being offered to draw in the crowds (except for Sat). So is it worth no afternoon resort time (with a 3 year old it will be needed) or fighting the crowds for? Thanks for the advice! :flower3:

We are going with a 4 year old in Sept.

Depends on what time you are heading to the parks in the morning.

My thing is== we WILL need down time for the kids. Its gonna be hot & sweaty.
Will leave right after the parade-- and head to an ADR out of the park. Do our down time then come back for Fantasmic. (bet they dont have EMH on the same night as Fantasmic) We would have to leave right after fantasmic anyways,

IMHO--yes the parades are worth it.

We saw this one last August, and we did not think it was that great. It's not a true parade. Instead, the floats each stop at a few designated spots along a parade route, characters and performers dance and perform acrobatics and such in that area, and then move on.

I personally think it's the weak link in the afternoon parades, and I would not stay in the park specifically for it, especially in August (we go then too) with a three year old. Go back to your resort and relax.

If you are set on seeing an afternoon parade while you're there, I personally think either the MK or AK parade would be a better bet--and again, I'd just do one of them but I wouldn't mind missing them either.
