DHS after hours?

Is it worth it? 3 hours doesn't seem very long. Are wait time significantly shorter?
In our experience no, the DHS hours are not worth it. We feel differently about MK as there are many more rides there and we feel we get our moneys worth. The other thing with DHS is half their "attractions" are closed during extra hrs. as none of the shows are running etc. The lines were always longer than what we found for the first half hr of early morning hrs.

When we went TOT was a short line (almost walkon) but we waited 20 kins for MMRR, 25 for Slinky and an hour for RoR. For us, it wasn't worth it...at all. - The CMs were also kinda. grumpy which certainly didn't help.

OMI, no. Well, at least not the ones with a paid ticket. If you will be staying at a deluxe WDW hotel, then the extra PM park hours are worthwhile (but HS is not typically one of the parks.)

One aspect of the party events is that the weather in the summer/early fall can be iffy with rain. Last year, we felt bad because people going to a Halloween party at MK were stuck going on a night with absolute pouring rain all night.

(That is one thing I don't like about paying for G+ a week in advance.)

During the extra PM hours, it still took time to clear out the queues in HS, so the first 30min many rides had considerable waits, but towards the end of the night there was a drop-off. The paid party might be a little different where people feel obligated to stay.

We don't have a pass for that day, only the extra hours that night. What time can we enter park, 9:30?

7 pm, we did it last year it was great! We had 8 people, age range 18-80, everyone enjoyed it. The longest line was for ice cream and drinks. We saw some characters too with no lines. Have fun!
