DHS - after closing (Savi's)

Hi! I'm thinking about doing the lightsaber experience at Savi's on an upcoming trip. I'm thinking about doing it around or after closing time. My hope is to then be able to get some nice night-shots with the lightsaber(s) around the Millennium Falcon with no crowds.

My question is this: how "late" after park closing can you access the area where the Millennium Falcon is? For example, I see today's park closing time is 9:00 and the last reservation avaialble for this exaperiance is 10:05 PM. If someone did the 10:05 PM one, would they still be able to wonder over to the Millennium Falcon for photos? Or do certain areas get roped off at certain times?

Is there a "general rule" for access after closing for all the parks?

I can't help with something that takes you way later than closing but this summer we were in Oga's and came out around or just after closing. There were lots of folks taking pictures and we hung around awhile to take a few. As we were walking out of GE there were quite a few guests in full SW clothing walking in with their light sabers, I assume to go do pictures. No one was blocking anyone from getting to MF or any of the area. I think its just a thing.

Now if you are building an HOUR or more after closing not sure what would happen with access. Hopefully someone comes on with first hand experience.

We came out of Oga’s one night around 10:00 after a 9:00 reservation on a 9:00 closing night, and they were funneling people toward the exit and not allowing people to stop for pics. I have also been out in the GE at closing and seen several cosplayers and guests hanging around and taking pictures in the 10-20 minutes after the park closes, so I’m not sure when they were shutting people down and steering people toward the exit. It’s possible that late that they will steer you to leave the direction that takes you past the landspeeder as opposed to the direction that takes you past the Falcon. I always feel badly watching those CMs be nice when I’m sure they just want to get things wrapped up and head home!

Thanks for the replies. I found some older threads, and got conflicting info. I'm assuming we'll try to do the experience a little bit before closing, and then just hang out by the MF until we get a chance at some pics with low crowds before they start escorting towards the exit.

If anyone has had a recent experience with this, please reply. Appreciate it!

We had a 9:45 reservation for Savi's in early June. Park closed at 9. We did take some pictures in front of the Falcon, but only from the top of the stairs, along that upper level railway, not right down in front of it. I'm not positive of the time, but I think it was around 10:20 ish. There was a security guard stationed there, and I can't remember if the stairs were roped off, or the guard was blocking it. The guard did allow a few pictures, and we were super quick, but he was hustling people out. I have some pictures in front of the x-wing at 10:24. It was VERY cool to be in a deserted Batuu. we did get a few really cool pictures, but I don't know if it would be guaranteed given the hour. HS was SO deserted when we left. very cool and creepy.
