I was thinking Biergarten would be a good dinner. How is this place for kids? Any other Epcot dining ideas?

We thought it was a lot of fun for both adults and kids, especially at dinner.
If you are looking for other places most kids would love, I would say Garden Grill (Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale) or even Akershus (Princesses).
We liked all 3, but had Biergarten was so different that I give it the edge.

Biergarten is our favorite WS restaurant. We have had always had excellent food and fun entertainment there.

Thanks!! We will definetly give it a try!!
:goodvibes
Do you recommend getting an ADR for this?

Just be aware you are seated communal style at tables with other people. We loved the food here !

The Biergarten is great for adults and kids!!! It is one of our favorites.

You are at tables with 10 people and all seats will be filled. So you may not like who you sit by and they may not like you.

I think the food there is incredible. But it is not typical american fare. If you aren't an adventurous eater it may turn into a bread and salad dinner. But wow is it good. If not for my grand parents I wouldn't known what most of it was. But it was great to taste again.

We had dinner at the Biergarten in 1986 before it was a buffet and DH got sick, probably because he ate way too much ;), so we avoided it until last November. We loved it! Good food, good entertainment, and yes, you are seated at a table for 8 but we had a great time sharing the table with strangers! Going to make a lunch ADR next week for our upcoming November trip. The potato and leek soup along with pretzel rolls was yummy; lots of other good things too, but that was my favorite.

We went to Biergarten for dinner with 7 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had a blast. The kids and my mother danced to a live band (polka's & Chicken dance). They have a good beer and wine selection and the food is amazing. They have typical kid selections (mac&chz, chicken nuggets ect.) for the pickier eaters. We will definitely do it again. Good luck and have fun.

My kids (8 and 5 at the time) danced their heinies off! They absolutely loved the band and food. good choice for fun! :cool1:

We have always had good food and service at the Coral Reef and if you like fish and Chips the Rose and Crown is very good. They do have some items on the menu that I personally would not order but have had the fish sometimes they have a fish and steak meal. We ate at Le Cellier last year for the first time and do have a reservation for it this fall, while I thought it was good I did not think it was as good as all the hype about it especially since it is so hard to get a reservation there.
