Called & cancelled our ADR for 50's PT, made new ADR for Kona (5:30). How difficult is it to go to MGM after? Is it easier to go to Epcot? I am getting really nervous about Disney transportation. It all seems so confusing...ugh.

I'm not sure what the issue is...I would just get on the MGM bus at the Polynesian. Shouldn't be any problem at all. Or am I missing something?? (that has been known to happen more than several times!!)

If you want to go to MGM after Kona's just catch the bus to MGM. The Poly has a bus stop out front.

Exactly -- you walk out front and take the Poly bus to MGM. If you want to go to EPCOT you can either take the EPCOT bus or -- my personal favorite -- walk to the TTC (a nice stroll though the Poly grounds = around five minutes) and take the Monorail to EPCOT.

It's no problem at all to get to a park after eating at a resort restaurant. As others have said, you can catch a bus to MGM at the Poly.

WDW transportation really is very easy to use. It's a little more complicated if you're trying to get from one resort to another, or from one park to another. But even then, we've never had any problems getting where we want to go and we use WDW transportation exclusively.

Although leaving MGM to go to the Poly, then eat, then travel back to MGM is going to take a big chunk of time out of your park time. Personally I would do Kona on an MK day.

Thanks everyone. I guess I am just worried about travel time, being late etc. This is our first trip. I had wanted to try & only eat at the park we would be at, thinking it would be easier than stopping whatever we are doing, walking (who knows how long) to the exit, finding the right bus & getting to a resort.

It will be nice, seeing other resorts though. We also have an ADR for Concourse. I guess I am getting worked up over nothing.

Thank you!

This was another of my concerns. On our MK day (the day before our Kona ADR) we are eating at WCC (forgot this is another resort we get to see!).

We are going to be at Epcot in the AM, then head back to our resort after lunch for a break IF NEEDED. So we would be going to Kona from our resort (CSR). I was thinking bus from CSR to MK, then monorail from MK to Poly. Is there a better way?

Just get on the MGM bus from the Poly and you will be good to go.

Enjoy your meal!

My personal opinion is this may not be the best use of your time. Now it is doable, however IMHO it is alot of wasted time traveling when you could be doing. WDW is a large place and I like to do activities that are in close proximity thereby limiting the amount of time wasted traveling. Now your plan to do the MK and eat at WCC at WL I think is a great one. It will be easy to boat from MK since you are already there to WL have your meal and then boat back to MK to finish your day.

If you like to check out other resorts and will be at Epcot, do any of the Epcot resort restaurants peak your interest? There are alot to choose from between BW, BC,YC, Swan & Dolphin. After you eat you can take a boat into MGM for the evening or go back to Epcot if you desire.

Personally I would have kept my ADR for Prime Time cafe. We love that place and make it a must do every trip. We'd go there over Kona's any day. There is more to Prime Time then meatloaf! LOL!
