DH turning 40-ideas for celebrating?

DH will turn 40 right before our trip - in fact, I've considered moving our dates back to be there for the big 4-0, but would mean kids missing more days of school -

Anyway, any ideas? I feel bad b/c he's saving up for the trip, so I figured I'd splurge myself and do something fun - it can be just for the two of us or for the whole family (DH, 3 DD's, my parents, myself) -

HOw about a segway tour for the 2 of you...or an illuminations cruise for the entire family...our family enjoyed miniture golf also..

Yes, I thought of the Illum Cruise - read last night some fabulous reviews - but I'm not sure I still have the details correct -

someone said it's not called Illuminations or Wishes cruise anymore, rather some other name and said you can't be sure which one you'll get - is that right?

Also, is this like CRT where you have to have your finger on the speed dial at 6:58 am 90 days ahead to have any chance of getting one?
