DH suggests a last minute trip, but the site is being buggy

Things have been going very well for us, so DH suggested we extend our short VA trip by driving down to Disney (spending a weekend with relatives that want to see us on the way). I'm all for it, but I can't get Disney's website to work to save my life. I guess things are all booked up for mid May already? Might look into renting DVC.

Our cause for celebration will be up in the air for a week or two yet, so we decided that rather than book the trip before we were certain or take whatever was available a week before we went (if that), we'd save that money for the big trip we're planning for later on. The buggy site contributed to the decision by frustrating me to death for a few hours.

I would definitely skip the site and call up direct for a last minute trip, but just 2 people going for the trip should find a lot more options still available than all 5 of us could. Good luck!

Oh, and we are going on A Disney trip, just in 2018 (patience isn't my virtue, but I'm trying) and we are still planning to go somewhere for a few days if the great promotion comes through, only it will be tried and trues in Lancaster County instead of a long drive to Florida.
