DH just recieved phone call asking for a reference for someone trying to get a loan.

Strange thing about it is ... it was for our ex daughter in laws twin sister and her boyfriend wanting the loan.
Long story short, son won custody and it was a long and ugly custody battle resulting in son having to get a ppo against ex father in law, etc.

DH told the person the truth that he knows who they are but does not really know them or how they are at paying their bills. Why in the world would they put us down for a reference?

How strange!!! Maybe everyone else that knows them well won't vouch for them.
