DH joined Atkins with me!

Yesterday after DH and I had a discussion about health issues (he is diabetic and needs to lose), he decided to go back on WW.

I said, you know, Atkins is wonderful to control your blood sugar because you don't have any of those carbs converting to sugar, why don't you do it with me.

And guess what, he said yes. You have to understand that he is a huge carb person, so this is a major breakthrough. I have been working on this since I started in May!

I am so excited.

Congrats...I think he made a great decision.

Funny thing is...when you go looking for low carb cookbooks...they are with the diabetic cookbooks at the book stores.

A friend of ours has also been diagnosed with diabetes. Hes not formally on Atkins but seems to be avoiding the same carbs, etc. When he explains how he's eating it reminds me alot of Atkins

That's great news disneyeveryyear! DH and I aren't on Atkins but we are doing our plan together and it makes it so much easier to be doing this with him. Now you and your DH can get healthy together!
