That is such great news! I am so happy he will be there over Christmas. When my DH went to Kuwait back in March, he was due to leave a week prior to DD's Birthday, and then they moved it to the following week. One plane was going to leave on her Birthday and the other plane the day after. DH got lucky and got on the 2nd plane and got to be home for her Birthday. I know how much this extra time with you and your daughter mean and how much it will mean for him. I know that the extra day on her birthday meant so much to my daughter and DH. I know that it will be the same for you and your family!
