DH is an angel! I booked YC concierge today!

I am so excited. We will be staying July 8-18. I just wanted to say thanks to Tammi and others who have given me so much info about the YC.

The only thing I ask of the YC concierge staff is that they help me get my hands on the new Harry Potter book as it will be coming out during our stay!

We don't really have any room requests. DH wants "as few screaming kids" as possible - we're hoping this is our last trip without "screaming kids" of our own. And before I get flamed - DH is just joking - we adore kids. Any suggestions for requests? We usually just let the CM at the desk surprise us.

Soooooooooooo excited! I'll be worse than my students counting the days until school is out!

You can order Harry Potter from Amazon now and it will be waiting for you when you get home. I did this for my DS who is a big Harry Potter fan.

We'll be there (in Epcot Resorts) as well...and have already called a major bookstore in Orlando to reserve our copy! We are also set with a car rental, to leave property and attend the special HARRY POTTER MIDNIGHT PARTY celebrating the GRAND RELEASE of this title. This is when we will receive our copy, (1 minute after midnight, the registers will begin ringing the sales!). It's just ONE MORE little piece of FUN & MAGIC to enjoy while visiting WDW!!

P.S. Leighe, let me know if you experience ANY problems obtaining a copy through concierge. It would be no problem for me to order/purchase a copy for you, and personally deliver it to the Concierge desk at the Yacht Club! I would even conceal the contents in a non-descript package/bag, since this is a coveted item!! (LOL). We could arrange simple pre-payment, and everything would be all SET! The book would be awaiting your arrival at the YC Concierge Desk (since it's released a couple days before your planned visit). Just drop me a PM.
