I did read the FAQ about ING at the top. I didn't wade through the 33 pages though so please forgive me if I duplicate.

* Is there a fee for taking your money out?

* Is there a minimum amount of time you can have your account open? (our bank said if we only had a savings account for less than 1 year they'd charge us.)

* When you request your money to be taken out how long does it take to get it? Also, is it electronically put back into your checking account? Or do you get a check?

Thanks in advance.

I am not aware of any fees to withdraw money, nor any minimum time to have an account open.

It usually takes a couple of days to get your money to show up in your checking account after you initiate a transfer. The same is true of adding to ING. The balance indicates the money is there, but it is not available for a couple (or 3) days.

* There is no fee to withdrawal.
* I don't think there is a time limit to have the account open. (someone back me up on that).
* It takes about 2-3 days for the funds to transfer back to your checking account, and it's an electronic credit.

The only time limitation that I know of is that you have to have the account open for so many months to be able to keep the $25 bonus if someone refers you. In other words...they don't want people opening accounts, then closing them the next day just to collect the $25 bonus.

The bonus usually shows up in your balance...but, is not available for withdrawl until a few months later....

You have to keep your account open for one month in order to withdraw the $25 account-opening bonus.

That's right. There is no limit but they hold your $25 for exactly 30 days. Then you can do whatever you want with it. I opened 5 accounts and I closed 2 right as soon as the $25 bonus was available with no problems at all.

Do you have to call them to close an account or can you do it online? I'm not planning on closing any but just wondering.

Thanks!

You have to call them but it was painless.
