DH, DS, DD ????? What's up?

Ok, dumb question from newbie....why does everyone on this forum refer to their spouse as DH??? I assume the H is for Husband....what about the D?
Dear?
Darling?
Dutiful?
Darned?
Dopey?
Dumb?
Diabolical?
Dorky?
Dippy?
Delicious???
Guess it depends on the day....

I think it is officially Dear. But now that I think about it, it could very well change with the day!

I think it's either Dear, Darling or, of course, Disney.

I think it is dear but as an earliar post mentioned it could change as the day goes on.
