DH actually said we can go in 2008!

We went October 2005 and although I would love to go every year, sadly due to $$$ we can only go every other at best and probably every 3 years for now - we have a lot of house updates we need to do...kitchen, bathroom, roof. DH actually said the other night that we can't go next year but most likely 2008. So now he has verbalized a time frame I'm keeping him to it I know I can't make reservations or ADR's or anything like that but the secret planning can begin

We stayed at All Star Sports last time and while we enjoyed it there I would like to try another hotel. I defenitely want to stay onsite. Last time we went for 12 nights and DH thought it was just a little too much so we're thinking 7/8 nights instead so I figure we'll be saving a little by going shorter, maybe we can upgrade to a moderate, we'll see.

Any little hints, ideas of what I can actually plan on now? Money saving tips? We are a family of 4 - DH, Me, DS who will be 7, and DD who will be 6 by the time we go. Also any different ideas of special things for kids in that age group as when we went they were toddlers. I know I'm REALLY early but I've got to keep busy doing something

Since your children will not be toddlers, you need to plan on visiting more of the park. You kids will be older and can experience more attactions. You might want to read some of those books that address the attractions by age.

Oh..you are going to LOVE your trip in 2008!! ..6 and 7 are GREAT ages to take your children. Young enough to still believe in the magic and love characters ...princesses etc...but old enough to go on ALL the rides with you.
We took oue dd this august aged 6yrs and are going back next year when she is 7. I want to really enjoy her being this wonderful age before she gets to be a pre teen.

You will be able to do..Wonderland tea party..bip bop boutique...pirate cruise
...Family magic tour..meal in castle...neverland club..so you and Dh can have a meal alone.
Even the sleeping beauty tea party which although pricey is fantastic!!

As for resorts..have fun checking them all out...you will probably change your mind a million times before 2008. We.ve gone with POFQ for next August.
