Has anyone seen the MK bridal portrait that has just been posted on the DFTW Facebook page? It's the most stunning MK photo shoot I've seen!

If you've not seen it:

My feeling is if Disney can produce such a beautiful photograph for this couple why can't they do it for all the couples who pay exactly the same price and therefore deserve exactly the same level of service and quality.

Personally we were very happy with our MK photos but I know many other couples have had a terrible experience and it just seems such a shame that we all don't walk away with photographs as stunning as this one.

Sorry, rant over! :rotfl:

P.S Congratulations to the bride and groom in the photograph! You've certainly got a wedding shot to treasure! :lovestruc

Beautiful! I wonder who the photographer was!

It's stunning isn't it? I've never seen a photo shoot picture like it! It would be interesting to know who the photographer was. I imagine if we find out then they'll be running a one man/woman show in MK photo shoots ha ha! :lmao:

looks touched up, with color added but nice end product
am i the only one who thought...gee how did they get the photographer to let them go down there?

This is a fellow Disbride! I remember looking at her photos from her PJ last week and just being floored over how gorgeous her MK photos were. She has the link here:

Just scroll down the page to find it.

I think the Disney Photographer was Regina......truly amazing pics, especially the one on the blog today. It looks like a painting. :cloud9:

Oh how fab!

Well, that's Regina in for a busy time then! ha!

Seriously though these are amazing photographs. I've never seen any taken from this particular spot before, I think it should become a Disney standard if this shoot is anything to go by. I wonder if Regina suggested it?

Congratulations again to Jennine and Philip aka neener3. I hope you don't mind me drooling over your pics! :lovestruc

That IS us! I shrieked so loudly when I saw it that Philip thought I was dying and came running into the bedroom. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

And, um...will anyone hate me when I say that we didn't ask to go down there? Regina suggested it. I HAD specifically wanted the pictures on the bridge, and we went there before I even spoke up. Then she asked our "security" if we could go down there. They said yes, so we hopped down before anyone could change their mind! :rotfl:

I guess the moral of the story is that sometimes when you don't ask and let them do their thing...magic can happen ;) And yes, it's photoshopped, but some of our favourite images came from that spot as well...and we're putting this one on a canvas!

Oh, and thanks everyone!

Congratulations to you both!

I hope you don't mind me posting this thread I'm just so completely in awe! :worship:

They should totally make this a regular shot as it's just so very beautiful. It just shows what a great photographer with a creative mind can do. I just took a quick peek at the Disney Event Photography site and it seems to be - though I am no expert - that Regina is one of the most qualified photographer Disney have. :thumbsup2

It's just a shame that some couples have not received such wonderful service. If Disney can create something as wonderful as your photograph then there is truly no excuse for producing any thing less never mind out of focus pictures for other couples.

Congratulations again and may you enjoy your stunning canvas print for many years to come!

DH and I for several reasons could not have our MK photo shoot during our wedding (mainly being they were filming the Christmas Parade). We have been discussing doing it before our 1 year anniversary because Disney will still let their wedding couples do the shoot before then.

Well....this shot literally inspired me to book ASAP. I actually emailed the coordinator today because this photo inspired me!! We are booked for November 19th and I requested Regina. I really hope I get her. Even if we can't get a shot similar to your I know that she will make us look great!

Thank you for the inspiration.

Oh, and I would totally blow this photo up as huge as I could get it and hang it up!!

Make sure you've got the later slot so the sun is rising as ours was at 5am on 7th December and it was pitch black the whole time so getting a shot like Jennine's would not be possible. It was painfully cold too, could have done with a drop of sunshine ha ha!

Oh, I don't mind at all! I'm thrilled with our photoshoot, and don't mind sharing! And I especially agree that everyone should be allowed to do this - especially since you're not "alone" in the park anymore. I had scouted photographers and requested Regina or Amy, as I loved work from the both of them.

Yep, indeed. We weren't picked up until 7:30.

Oh yeah, forgot they'd all been moved to 7:30am. Doh!

Absolutely beautiful photo and I will be asking for this for us as well! Definitely a treasure! We already requested Regina a month ago :)

I love that it was her idea, just wish there was standard as well

we did our MK shoot back in the day when you had to pull teeth just to get something other than the standard three locations...(front of castle, back and carousal)...ugh...we had to beg just to get to the bridge…I’m so glad they are getting creative…make me wish for a reshoot

Your whole shoot is amazing

All I can say is WOW! :lovestruc It was probably a beautiful photograph before the editing, but after? Just amazing. :cloud9:

Wow!! What a stunning photo!! This is one of the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen, let alone a DFTW photo..

I'm not sure if seeing this makes me feel more excited about having an MK shoot or less - because I'll be sad if we have a bad experience!

Hope this isn't a silly question, but are the MK photos automatically editted/photo shopped, or do you have to request it?

Just thought I'd chime in :cool1: This picture is stunning!!!

And from what Rosie told me last week, not every shoot has been changed to 7:30. Due to the renovations in MK, the 6am slot must be approved by the team working that day. As of right now (I'm keeping my fingers crossed), we have been approved for the 6am slot for our shoot in May.

First I have to say that these photos are amazing!!! All the MK photos of neener3 were so good!!!!!!!!!!!! We just got done doing the Mk and Epcot photo shoot and we had Ty who was amazing!!!!!!!!!!:dance3: When I saw this photo I chuckled a little because its the exact same photo set up that we took and I remember what Ty was saying when he was taking these shots of us. Conversation went like this: Hey you guys are up for whatever right? Sure I say.. Well I just started doing this shot by the lake with the castle in the background and I'm trying to perfect it. So he tells us where we are going to go and what he is going to do. Then he tells us that he started to do this shot and alot of other photographers started to do it too so he has got to come up with something different that will keep them guessing on how he got the shot. LOL. ( Def got the feeling of friendly rivarly between the photographers) Any guesses on how he took our photo???......... well I cant say because I thought i posted it but I didn't and my husband saw that I was going to tell you guys how he did it and he yelled at me and said I could not give away TY's secret. So I will say that it was very creative as to how he got the shot and my husband says we can post the picture when we get it. (I have been nagging him to post pics of our DCL wedding and he still has not because he says he cant figure it out:confused3 but he says he will learn to post our MK shoot) Sorry guys I cant tell you how Ty took the photo but my DH almost killed me for posting it. I guess request Ty if you can and see for yourself but lets say no photo shopping is required.
