I'm still stunned. By that last scene. I truely didnt see that coming! OMG! John Lithgow deserves an Emmy for his guest role he was amazing. I LOVE DEXTER!!!!!

What if it was Dexter that killed Rita???? The whole last scene was very dream like. Whats the chances that Trinity would know to put Harrison in the blood like that? And what if Dexter was having a dream? He has been going more and more off with Harry now in crazy land. What if Dexter dreamed that Rita was dead?

Did you see the interview with John Lithgow and MCH after the show? I'm pretty sure they said Trinity killed Rita. I wonder if it was supposed to look like a suicide or something. There sure are a lot of loose ends that need tying up.

I saw the interview but it could be a misdirect on the writers part. I'm just thinking now that there are definitely a LOT of loose ends to this. Many questions.
Harry keeps telling Dex how he is going to destroy his family. So maybe Dex kills Rita to end the whole family problem. Remember he is a serial killer who has been getting more violent (if that makes sense) in this season. He has made a mistake in a killing already that didn't follow the code.

Even though Batista saw him talking to Dexter I do not think they will point a finger at Dexter. He said out loud that he was on the wrong floor. If they put two and two together, they may think that Trinity was checking out the department to find another victim.

And there is no way Dexter killed her. (at least I would not think so, or hope he wouldn't)

I just finished and I am in shock! There is no way that Dexter killed Rita, none. I have no idea what is next but WOW, how will he recover?

Now the Feds have taken over the 'search'. Did anyone else notice how CLOSE to the shore the bags were dumped? It was the harbor! He always went way out to dump, so now they may be found? If Rita is considered his last victim, Dexter will be plastered all over the news as the grieving husband. Mitchell's family will see him on TV and say 'Kyle'?????

I wonder if Time of Death will be when they were all at Arthur's house. That way Dexter will not be a suspect.

he also could not have killed her because he thought she was in the keys. It wasn't until he heard the voicemail that he knew she had come back. What he will have to explain is why it took him so long to come home. I guess he could say he was on his way to the keys and forgot to get his bag from home.
