Otherwise, any other suggestions besides POTC that is out right now? Going are me (24) my boyfriend (23) and my sister and (female) cousin, both are 17.

We really enjoyed it!

Anne Hathaway was pretty good, and Meryl Streep was fantastic. Have you read the book? Don't go in expecting it to be just like the book. It's "based on" the book and captures the spirit of the book, but doesn't follow the storyline exactly.

My DH even liked it, as did my 10 yo DD.

We saw it the other night. Even DH had to admit it was a pretty good movie. It did bother him that he was one of only 3 men in an almost full theater though.

I've never read the book so I don't know how true to the story it stayed but Meryl Streep was awesome!

I really appreciate the responses! My sister really wanted to see POTC but the theaters are basically sold out and my boyfriend has NO desire to see it anyway. My sister and cousin are here on vacation and my car broke down yesterday, so they're kind of agitated that we haven't gotten to do anything today.

I really want to see it. Even if it only captures the spirit of the book, it still looks funny. The book was really good by the way.
