Devil wears prada?

We saw it last night, and I thought it as OK. I really like the book and it was quite different. One of my favorite parts of the book was the security guard and that was missing from the movie.

JESW- There is one part that I remember them saying A**HOLE, but I don't remember anything else that wouldn't be appropriate for a 7 y/o (I'm not saying there isn't anything else, I'm just saying I don't remember so don't be mad at me if there was something else).

We just saw it tonight and liked it a lot. I am confused over the PG-13 rating though. There wasn't really anything bad in there, with the possible exception of the women in their underwear in the opening credits.

I thought Meryl Streep did a fantastic job, and the clothes were to die for.

It was rather depressing how they kept calling a size 6 "fat" though.

I'm going with DSis Monday to see it. I tend to see the movie first then read the book. Often, it's a book I'd have never thought I'd enjoy and was suprised.

I know. The book made me feel like such a cow...

When I was in NYC to film a commercial last winter, the tech crew was "prettier" than the "talent," which is what they kept calling us!!! I showed up for the first day of taping, and I swear, this girl floated up to me wearing Uggs (which we'd never seen here) with skinny jeans tucked into them (which we hadn't seen since 1985) and a fur vest on (ummm...yeah). She was an etheral goddess, and it turns out she was a production assistant...and an aspiring ballerina. It was a lot of fun, but I can't imagine the cutthroat business on a daily basis...

I saw The Devil Wears Prada today with my mom...really cute but a lot different than the book. Stanley Tucci is ADORABLE as Nigel.
