Go Pistons! Been following them since they drafted one of my fav all time UK players Tayshaun Prince! And he was flat out awesome in this series! Loved how he pretty much shut Kobe down. Great job Larry Brown, Joe Dumars, and all the Pistons!

Hey, I guess when I was there in 1997, Devil's Night was just a mirage.

And the police cars burning and the one death after the 1984 WS championship were my imagination

And the wide-spread looting and seven deaths after the 1990 Pistons championships were just an anomoly, I guess.

I have lived in Southeastern Michigan my entire life, and am proud of it . WOOHOO PISTONS !! Please don't get me going on the rioting comments, we aren't the only big city that has had problems. Detroit has changed a lot in the past few years, come see our new stadiums & the improvement to the neighborhoods downtown!

I've lived in S.E. Michigan my entire life (except when I went to Central Michigan). Did I think the Pistons would win this? Not on your life! I was originally hoping Detroit would ONLY lose the series in 6 games.

I'll have to give that team credit. They did whatever they had to do to win each game. From what I saw, there were no egos on the Pistons.

I LOVED watching the game last night, and I'm not even "that much" of a basketball fan!! The Pistons sure deserved to win the title though, they played GREAT ball!! And Kobe "guaranteed" the Lakers were going to win last night I just hope there wasn't TOO MUCH "celebrating" in Detroit last night. It's such a shame some people have to go overboard and do destructive things.
