Detroit border crossing construction status

Does anyone know the current state of the construction around the ambassador bridge border crossing. It has been a year since I have been down there and last time it was a mess. Construction on the 401 then a major detour through scary part of town once you get over the bridge. Is it all smooth sailing now?

I think that is all done now. My parents were just at the airport yesterday and my mother didn't say anything about problems.

A few weeks ago when my family and I crossed into the United States at the Ambassador Bridge there was a detour getting onto I-75 South because of the construction. Just after clearing Customs and paying that toll fee everyone went on I-75 North, however there were signs saying which way to get onto I-75 South. Although I actually thought that way was a lot faster then going down all those side streets after clearing Customs.

we went through last March and it was actually easier and faster just following the detour signs than the normal way.

From Windsor heading over NB traffic onto the 1 75 is done. SB still has a small detour, nothing like last year.

It is coming along nice but isn't finished yet.
