We are headed to Orlando for dd's wish trip this spring. We will be going to IOA on Sunday, April 30 for ds's 7th birthday. Can someone give me details about the Spiderman breakfast as far as where it is, how much it costs, etc? My son would love to see Spidey like that and with everything he's dealt with during his sister's illness, we want his birthday to be as special as possible.

Thanks!

I think you are talking about the character breakfast at Confisco's, which is in the Port of Entry of IOA. Here is the number you'll need:

Confisco Grille®
Food: Grilled sandwiches and burgers, salads, fajitas, Low-Carb menu and full bar
Type: Casual Full Service
Reservations: Accepted. Call Islands of Adventure Reservations at (407)224-4012
Serving: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner daily, plus Character Breakfast until 10:30am each Thursday through Sunday.

I've been for a DIS meet once on a Saturday morning. We had one of the last ressies of the morning (after 10) and it was pretty empty then, so all the kids got a lot of time and interaction with the characters. Spidey wasn't the only character; Wolverine, Thing 1 and Thing 2, the Grinch I think -- lots of characters.

The breakfast was a normal buffet. I am not much of a breakfast eater; so I don't really remember. Give me a piece of toast and some fruit and I'm fine, but I do seem to remember them having good french toast. Plenty of food and, of course, all you can eat. I think adults were $17.95 or so + tip? Not sure about kids, but we all got a discount with our APs. If you have AAA, you may want to inquire about a discount for that.

Have fun.

a cool thing about spiderman is he interacts like a 'face' character, he talks and jokes around with the kids.

Went in august, tha character interaction was fabulous.

We had spiderman, thing one and thing two and the cat in the hat. It was very empty (we had 9:30 adrs) the food was very ok, but the char interaction made up for it.

Thank you! I just called and got our reservations made. I was told the week we are going is college spring break so I need to allow extra traveling time. I hadn't thought about college spring breaks! UGH!

Just thought I'd add that drinks are not included...our large chocolate milks and oj's added about $20 to the bill. The food was your typical hotel breakfast buffet, but the character interaction was fantastic! Have fun!

We have reservations for 3/9. I just wanted to mention that when I made the reservations they said soft drinks were included, but not juice or milk.

I don't have any of the details in front of me right now..but we did this last August with our kids, age 6 and 8. They absolutely loved it, and the restaurant was empty so they had plenty of character interaction. We got to see Spiderman, Cat in the Hat, and Thing 1 and Thing 2. I would certainly recommend it.

Enjoy

My FI and I love the char breakfasts at Disney, so we figured let's try this one.. I have to say, we did not like it.

First of all it was totally empty.. we were literally the only ones there. This meant that all of the characters focused VERY much on us.. so much that we weren't even able to enjoy our meals! Thing 1 and 2 hung around our table the whole time.. staring at us pretty much.. and they even served up our food EVERY time we went up for something else. It's cute the first time, but after a while it looked like they were vultures waiting for us to get up.

Then Spiderman came out and he said hi and it was just silly.

I guess if there were more people it'd take the attention off of us a little more and would be a bit better..
