Hi guys,

Need your advice. I'm looking for information and details regarding the breakfast at Ohana. For those of you that have attended, can you give me details on the food variety, whether they have a children's menu and how the entertainment happens? I know that Lilo, Stitch, Micky in Hawaiian shirt and Goofy visit table by table but is there something else happening? I know they have a kids show for dinner but don't know anything about breakfast.

And lastly, would you recommend this character dining experience?

Thanks a bunch!

There is no "children's menu" as such. Food is served family style, and is fairly typical breakfast food -- eggs, waffle, sausage and bacon, fruit, potatoes, POG juice, bread.

There is no entertainment at breakfast. That's dinner. Breakfast is a character meal.

Really, it's basic breakfast food, with character visits and sometimes a little character booty shaking.

Its just the characters and no games but its a good meal that starts with breakfast breads, then a fruit plate and then a giant skillet with waffles, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage links and fried potatoes. All you care to eat served at your table and its on the monorail so thats a plus. I recommend it for sure and have ressies for my upcoming october trip.

the previous poster covered it - my kid is happy with waffles and bacon so pretty much this is heaven for him (they also have milk and chocolate milk for breakfast - hey it is vacation).

We liked it in 2014 and are going again on our upcoming trip in December. The food is not life changing but it was good, hot and plentiful and good character interaction. I love family style, it's much more relaxing with a kid than a buffet.

There is entertainment at breakfast but it is basically just giving the kids maracas and having them follow the characters around the restaurant to a song from LILO and Stitch. DS loves this breakfast and we try to do it at least once each trip. :goodvibes

How long does breakfast take? We have a 830 reservation. Does it tend to run late like dinner?

Last time we were there we got in about 45 minutes after our ADR time (about 9 I think), but a group of over 100 people left at the same time while we were waiting so I assume that some of them were there quite a while holding up tables. Soon after they left a lot of people got called for their tables pretty quickly.

That is what I referred to as "booty shaking." Character conga line, basically.

The length of time before being seated has varied for us over the years (sometimes less than 5 minutes, sometimes up to 30). Usually we're in the restaurant about an hour, which also about how long it takes the characters to make it to ea h table. Enjoy!
