Destiny Palms Hotel?

I am going for an extended stay. I have stayed off property MANY times and a lot of the hotels are a bit run down.

I noticed a coupon rate for a newly renovated hotel called Destiny Palms Hotel. I have called and they are very nice. I've seen a few photos and a lot of decent reviews for it as well. I think they they have a 'sister' hotel called Galleria Palms and I stayed there a few years ago and thought it was very very nice.

I know that it is pretty far down the strip for the Destiny Palms (a mile away from Animal Kingdom), but I just want a CLEAN place that is cheap so that I can stay longer without a lot of sticker shock.

Right now they have a rate including all taxes and fees of $277.00 for a weekly rate (7 nights).

The main question I'm having is about the bathrooms. I haven't seen any pics of the bathrooms and I hear it is only a shower (which is fine) but I wanted to make sure that it's a shower that you have enough room to actually bend over in. Plus, I will have a scooter and I want to make sure that I have room for that too. I will be staying for almost a month so I want to make sure the place is comfy and I'm a bit picky.

Anyone know anything about the place? good or bad?

I don't know if you will see this now, but I just happened to notice. We actually have reservations here in June for our Busch Gardens, Seaworld trip this year. They have excellent reviews on tripadvisor and we also got an awesome rate. I would simply call them and ask them about your situation, they are very nice there and I am sure they would answer you questions about the shower.
