Hello! We will be sailing on the Destiny next month (5 night) and are trying to sort out our dining requests. I saw a thread in December (and also looked at the Navigators on disneycruislineblog) and saw that for at least the December 5-night sailings, they chose to do the '2nd menu' of the specific MDRs rather than having the Pirate Night menu/other shared special menus. Has anyone sailed in the last few weeks that can confirm it's still being done like that? It changes the calculus of what we are willing to miss for our Enchante night (I know things can change but looking for the best data points I can get). Normally I'd assume December was recent enough but with a brand new ship, you never know what is temporary vs a permanent choice. Appreciate any experiences you can share, thank you!

We were on the Destiny for a 5-night sailing last week and the second menu of the MDR is served. No Pirate Night or other special menu. Our server indicated this will be the procedure for the foreseeable future. FWIW, the rotation was ABCAB. Have fun!

This was my experience in December (although I know you asked for recent experiences) with the same rotation of ABCAB.

I'm onboard the Destiny now and that's how it is. We have 12312. No pirate night menu, and we have the second menus for Pridelands and 1923 (our repeated MDRs).

Trying to understand this , we will be on the 5 night Destiny. So there is no pirate night menu and in pride and 1923 , both choices for the menu is the 2 nd night menu offer only, on both your first and second night in each of those restaurants. . Not much of a choice . Thank you

There is no pirate night menu on the 5-night Destiny sailings. Your first time in each MDR you get the ”main"/"featured" menu. For the two MDRs that you repeat (go to a second time), you will get the "secondary"/"alternate" menu for each.

You will never have the same menu twice on any given Disney cruise.

But aren't there 2 Marvel shows? Or is it just by random MDR assignments?

Yes, for the dining menus to work as people are describing, each restaurant on the Destiny will have 2 distinct menus. Guests will dine at 2 restaurants twice (having both menus for those 2 restaurants) and 1 restaurant once (having the "first" menu for that restaurant). Some guests will dine at Marvel twice, and some will dine at Marvel only once, depending on their assigned rotation.

There are two Marvel shows on the Treasure. But, on the Destiny there is only one. If you go to the Worlds of Marvel for two nights, on the second night you'll have rotating concept art on the screens and Marvel music playing. But no true show.
