We will be going to Disney next week with the dining plan for the first time. I am not a big dessert person and was wondering if any of the restaruants (TS) will give a fresh fruit type item that I might take with me. I can't see me eating a big dessert after a huge meal. Thanks for any input on this. Have a nice night!!

The only places I can think of off hand would be the buffets. Have you checked out the menus on allears. net? :upsidedow

Yes, I did check the menus and I think 2 of the restaurants offered a fruit cup as a dessert choice. I was just hoping maybe it would be available even if not on the menu. I know this isn't a cruise (can almost request anything) but wishful thinking. thanks for your help!!

Several places offer sorbet or fruit & sorbet which can be very refreshing after a big meal. We also love creme brulee which is offered at many dining spots in Disney. Not as "light" as fruit or sorbet, yet definitely not as "heavy" as many desserts! :upsidedow

I don't know if they will give you fruit or not, it is a good idea though! Never hurts to ask. Last time we were on the dining plan we couldn't eat dessert. Way too much food! At the Sci-Fi Diner we asked the lady sitting in the "front seat" if her daughters would like our desserts. It felt good to help these girls have a magical day!:wizard:

Yes, this is the first time for me and the DDP but my kids have gone the past 2 years and said there is way too much food. I am not a big dessert person and no way after an appitzer and full meal. I wanted to take the fruit back for the morning if possible!! I'm sure you made those girls day with your generous offer. Have a great night!!
