Dessert party questions!

hi there, me again! Hoping some of you are willing to share your info!

1. what was the total cost of your dessert party? What location & what menu did you choose?

2. Is there one location that has a "better" view than another? Ill have 20 guests approx

3. ANyone have drinks at theirs?

My dessert party came out to about $1,400. This includes the desserts, table decor/setup, & guest viewing fees.

We had a total of 36 guests and the DP was at lower UK. Our dessert menu was the "kid at heart" and we also added 2 dozens of sweet cream cheese pretzels.

This is what I paid for my dessert party. We had it at the UK Lower area.

-Chocolate and Caramel Brownies
-Chocolate Chip and Sugar Cookies
-Biscuits, angel food cake, sponge cake
-Toppings (strawberries, pineapple, mandarin oranges, peaches, chocolate
vanilla puddings, whipped cream, caramel, chocolate syrup, cherries,
M&M's, Cookie Crumbs, nuts).
-fruit punch, coffees and teas served with swizzles, chocolate mint sticks,
Licorice drops, flavored syrups, assorted sugars, cream, honey and lemon.
-Seasonal Beverage (house made iced coffee or warm mulled cider)

We didn't have any alcoholic drinks here just coffees, juices and teas that came with the package. Nobody seemed to mind that.

We really loved this location. You could see everything from their. I have heard some have had problems with the smoke blowing back at them but we didn't have that problem. Here is a picture of the view from that location.

We had 8 people total for our dessert party and used the Morocco Terrace;

Venue Fee: $213.00
Table and Chairs Setup: $79.88
3 Viewing Fees: $39.94
8 The Petite Classics Menu: $288.66 (Base price was $28/pp came to $36.08/pp)

Total (inc. taxes and fees): $621.48

Chocolate Fudge Brownies

2. Is there one location that has a "better" view than another? Ill have 20 guests approx

I started out with about 20 people total and was told the only venue I could use would be Morocco. Others have been told differently, though. I think it depends on your planner and wedding type (we were Escape). I was leery of Morocco because of the wall, but we had no children and everyone could see fine. We liked the venue a lot!

3. ANyone have drinks at theirs?

We just used the included drinks and no one complained at all. Everyone really enjoyed the event (or claimed to at least ).

Overall maybe a little pricey but we would do it again in a heartbeat with no hesitation! It was great!

My DP was $3,039.39. That's table fees, menu, viewing cost and all that fun stuff.

We ended up with 64 people and we were at the UK Lower Terrace. The location was great. There are benches there already and that helped with seating. We added tables as well but the benches are right by the railing and it worked out great.

I used the "Petitie Classics" Menu and modified it a bit. I took out two things and added chocolate chip cookies and Mickey RCT's. It was $27 a person

I did NOT have alcohol there. We had the tea, water, coffee stuff that comes with it. We had a pretty nice reception and there was an open bar there so by the time the DP came around, people didn't need anymore alcohol!
