Dessert Party Question

We are going to WDW in December. In the past week the offical disney website has posted dates for the dessert party at MK but when I go to reserve it tells me that nothing is available. Anyone else having this problem? I have tried every day available in Dec and Jan just to make sure its not just my dates and nothing. I can't imagine that it booked that fast. Thanks!

For some reason known only to Disney, they don't open ADRs for the Dessert Party until *about* 60 days in advance. Sometimes more. Sometimes less. Sometimes they open a whole month up at once and other times just a week.

I would check again in mid-September, and then start checking at least once a week thereafter.

And on a night when Wishes are at, say, 9 pm, the system may give you an ADR for 6 pm. Or 8:45 pm. Don't worry; just take it. The system seems to have a nervous breakdown about the Dessert Party times and insists on trying to stagger the ADRs like you would with a TS restaurant. No matter what ADR time you get, the one and only party of the night starts 1 hour before the fireworks, and your ADR gets you a table for it.
