Hi All

Looking to book a a dessert party for my escape wedding in Jan, and as someone who's really only sampled fast food in WDW, I'm looking for any suggestions of desserts I really ought to try.

Hope you can help!

Since we didn't want to take away from the cake. We just had the following at our dessert party:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart
Caramel Ganache Bar with Sea Salt
Brownies
Assorted Cookies
Fresh Fruit
Rice Crispy Treats
Coffee, Decaf, Assorted Hot Teas, Fruit Punch

Oh that sounds amazing... I've heard tell of chocolate peanut butter cups/tarts... I will definitely be requesting them

Our party was not a wedding last year, but we did baklava and it was amazing, and the fruit and cheese plate they do was beautiful and our family loved it. The other items were good too, but if I were to do it again, those would be mandatory!

Ooo lovely, sounds amazing.
How funny I just handed my sister the dessert party menus for her to look at... Her first question "what in the name of Mickey Mouse is Baklava?"
I clearly didn't explain it very well as she didn't look impressed lol.

My sister is having a private Epcot fireworks party after her escape wedding in October 2016 during the booking and planning we were only given 3 different
Dessert packages to choice from. She ended up picking the ice cream sundaes with multiple toppings Cookies, fruit , coffee, tea juices.

To bad u can't pick and choice to make your own choices ....

You can, those are just sample menus, you do not need to pick one of them

Yeah, Disney sometimes doesn't make it very clear that the menus they send are samples only. You can completely customize any menu, and often for less than the price points on those samples. But ice cream sundaes do give you a lot of bang for your buck!

As the previous posters mentioned, you can customize your menu to be whatever you want (as always, all things come with a price!) For my two cents I highly recommend at least one non-sweet treat. Not everyone is a big dessert eater and we found after our dessert party we had more compliments and rave reviews over the fact that we offered 'savory' items than the sweet ones! Our menu included a build your own nachos bar, a build your own sundae bar, popcorn and mini cronuts - the nachos were the star of the show according to our guests!

Sorry for the silly question... What are 'cronuts'?

A cronut is a mix between a croissant and a donut. They got really popular a little while back.

I think they're pretty tasty!

For savory options we had mini-sliders in three different flavors and I thought they were all quite good. I found them on the general convention catering menu that @lurkyloo has linked on her travel babble site I believe
