I love the idea of an Epcot dessert party, and want to have one at my wedding but I wonder if it would be better to have it the night before as a Rehearsal/Welcome Party or as part of the actual wedding day? I think if I had it on wedding day, it would make for some beautiful pictures in our wedding clothes and would be very unique part of the wedding day. But I also having it the day before would spread the celebration out a bit more, and also might be easier in terms of transportation and such. I am planning on having a wedding pavillion ceremony and a grand floridian reception at the whitehall room. What do you think would be better? Thanks!
Anyone know if you do it as a welcome party the day before your wedding, do you still have to higher the transportation?
Can the menu be customized? I would want certain elements of the packages offered, but not exactly what is on that menu.
How do you find all of this stuff when i get closer to my wedding i'm gunna hope you are still on here!!! You seem to know everything its awesome!
Lurkyloo, you are simply astonishing with the speed to which you have been able to respond to DISbride questions. I wonder how in the world you have the 2009 buffet dessert menus, and part of me doesn't even want to know!

just out of curiousity, would it be possible to get the mini mickey waffles at a dessert party for like a make your own waffle sundae?
1) which venues are the best for a group of 20-25 people? Do any of the venues have bad views?
2) since we won't be in our wedding attire will they waive the transport issue?... I thought I remembered reading somewhere you can walk back as a group
3) how much is it for table set up and decorations? Is there anywhere the options for this are posted?
4) I also thought I saw a contact person for this that was not DFTW... anyone have this info?
I know I could search for this but I never have luck with the search engine on here!![]()
Is there a minumum spend per person for the DP menu, I have a feeling there is, but can't see it mentioned anywhere.....
And does it roughly work out at one of each dessert type per guest?
Hmm what were those delicious looking caramely chocolate marshmallow square thingies they used to do once upon a time, I wonder if they could still make those, I remember looking at the old menus and they were my favourite?!!
this menu says it expires September 09, our wedding is 21st October, so will we already have our prices and menus locked in by then?
$22/person
The number of the desserts per person doesn't matter, it's the amount you spend. You could blow that $22 per person on one really expensive dessert or get 10 cheap ones!![]()
You might be thinking of Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares. They're not on the menu anymore but they can still make them. We're having them in 2 weeks! Mmmmmmmm....
I might try and get a tailored menu to around $22 pp then....
I was trying to figure out the amounts, like if we booked something like the Petit Classics, there's 8 different desserts, so per guest do they get one of each dessert dessert each?
So if we try and tailor for $22 pp I think we'll get about 5 desserts, so I was trying to picture if that means one of each of the 5 items pp, does that make sense? Basically I'm trying to establish if it's enough, 5 desserts pp!
Mmmmm that was them, chocolate peanut butter marshmallow squares - I'll be asking about those babies!!![]()
Thanks so much... especially for the search tip... that is going to save me hoursof frustration
