Dessert Party Cancellation

Can someone tell me the specifics on canceling a dessert party? I know it says 1 day, does that mean 24 hours? Also what is the charge if you cancel after that period.

If you cancel after the cancellation period you forfeit the full cost of the party.

Unless something has changed recently:
Fireworks viewing requires pre-payment.
There is a 5 Day cancellation policy.
Full price will be charged/forfeited if canceling within 5 Days or no show of the reservation.

Ok I'm looking again and scheduling a dessert party it specifically says when you are almost to payment cancellation policy one day... now I'm very confused! Full price will be charged if guest cancels with less than one day or no shows...

This is what my email from my upcoming FEA dessert party says:

Cancel
- There is a 1 day cancellation policy. Full price will be charged / forfeited if Guest cancels within 1 day or no shows for the reservation.

It was 5 days when we went in January, so I would use 5 days just to be safe personally.

Also, I just went and started booking an FEA and it shows 1 day. Here's the screen shot. So, what parties are people booking that are 5 days, and why do you think it's 5 days, ie email, notice in MDE?

It was for the Magic Kingdom fireworks and what I was told over the phone by the person booking it for us since we were doing it through DVC with Disney Gift Cards, which they were reading off the screen and it is was was specified once I linked it to my plans.
