Has anyone celebrated a birthday by attending a dessert party? Will they do anything special like put a candle in a cupcake for you? Or is that just at table service restaurants? I'm not planning to order a special bday cake because I think the dessert party is more than enough sweets.
1) Nope, nothing special.
2) There are simply too many "Special" occasions to recognize them all.
3) As mentioned above, if you wear your button, a CM (or two) would probably say "Happy Birthday".
NOTE:
If you want something special, you usually need to buy it.
There are some exceptions. Last night we wen to a TS to celebrate (one person retired, one person birthday, one person 5-yr cancer free).
The Eatery gave us special deserts for free, plus one of the new "Mickey Cakes".
Hi
I would pick up one of the Birthday buttons from town hall if they are still available.
I would ask the Dessert Party Cms,,,, but as a back up plan I would tuck a small baggie with a few candles and a lighter in my pocket.
At the beginning of the Party take a small plate and put 3-5 cupcakes on it--form a mini cake,,add your own candles and picks.
The dollar store sells cute Cupcake picks and Birthday Buttons. Glow sticks rings brighten up a table nicely. My dollar store even sells glow magic wands and swords. One small mini jar of bubbles adds a nice touch for the birthday person.
I'm not sure if sparklers are allowed but maybe even a sparkler on the cupcake would be cute.
Have a great time celebrating!
Hugs Mel
