I'm reading a lot of very mixed reviews about the food at Blue Lagoon, but it's definitely a place that my group is hoping to try. Has anyone ever gotten JUST desserts there? Or maybe dessert and drinks? Would they allow this, or do you have to order a full meal?

Going first week in October, so hoping crowds won't be too bad and we wouldn't be stealing someone's table...

I think thats the issue - so you'd need to ask the greeter at the door if its okay to just order desserts and/or drinks. They may say No at main mealtimes.

We have done this once in the Auberge de Cendrillon, back in the day when it was a regular restaurant. (~2005?)
It was 1pm and we had a reservation. But we only wanted to eat dessert. Looking back I must admit that it was a bit stupid to tell this at the reception. Because the CM said we would have to eat a whole meal and not only dessert. But we could come back after 3pm. And that is what we did.
But I think now that if we would not have mentioned this they would not have turned us away once we would have had or table.

So I would book a table and don't tell at the reception. I don't think your waiter will send you away to come back later if you only order dessert. I think the waiter will be happy to have an "easy" table.

I was just coming on here to ask this question, any other advice? We like to dessert hop at places, but do not want to eat the food there.
