Dessert Only at Table Service Restaurant?

We are planning reservations for 9:30 to 10:00pm at several table service restaurants (Cali Grill among them). Can we get dessert only at this time? My thinking is we'll have had something to eat earlier in the evening, but would like to go up and have dessert. Good? bad? What do you think?

Should be just fine.

I did this for my birthday at Brown Derby. I wanted the Grapefruit Cake. We went at early lunch, didn't have an issue.
The server was so nice. No attitude because we weren't getting a large meal, even gave me a card and another dessert free for my birthday.
