Dessert and DDP

If you change your mind and decide to try the Basic DDP one more time, and find yourself in similar situations (being 'done' at a park but having to hang around for a dining reservation), try heading for that restaurant early. The worst they can do is say there's nothing available until your reservation time - and who knows, you may get lucky!

You cannot sub an appy for a dessert but at several places you could get a specialty coffee as your dessert. My DH is not a big sweet eater either so he exericsed this option on more than one occassion.

"Adult" specialty coffee drinks? We'd be all over that if that is an option
