I finally started my shirts and did a couple and all went well. On the third, the parchment paper stuck to the transfer and the shirt appears ruined! What did I do wrong? Is there a way to get the parchment paper off the shirt now? If I used the parchment paper too much, then I do not have enough parchment paper to do all my shirts. Where can I get more? TIA for any help!

I couldn't even begin to know what went wrong - is it possible that you put the iron on with the sticky side up instead of towards the shirt.

You can buy parchment paper just about anywhere. It comes in a box like foil and can be found either with the foil or with baking supplies. I hope this helped!

By my last 2 shirts my Parchment paper was sticking. I only had 2 sheets for 15 transfer pages. I was able to pull the stuck paper off while it was still hot. When you get more PP you might be able to iron over the stuck piece and the gently pull it off.
BE CAREFUL!!!! I used what I thought was parchment paper on a roll and mine had too mach wax on the paper. When the paper cooled and I tried to pull it off it stuck and tore---the wax had cooled. It took me many times going over it with the parchment paper on top and then carefully pulling the bits of paper off. It has to be hot to work. I used a pick-kinda like a hat pin - to lift the edges. I was able to save the shirt!

If you wet the design with a sponge...the parchment paper will rub off pretty easily....you have to let the water soak for a few minues, but once the parchment paper is good and wet, you should be able to rub it off.parchment paper is only good for 2 transfers in my opinion. Amy is correct, you can buy it in rolls at walmart or just about anywhere....I prefer silicone treated paper because it seems to help with edges that want to lift when you peel the parchment paper off....the invisible silicone remains on the transfer versus the transfer wanting to stick to the parchment. Hope this helps.

Awesome, I will try this tomorrow! I really was bummed when this happened to me. Where do I get the silicone PP? Is it in the foil aisle too?

I did the water method and it worked like a charm. Bumping to see if someone will answer my other question. What is silicone parchment paper? Is there a certain side of the parchment paper bought in the store I should put facing the transfer. The stuff that came with my paper is almost like vellum paper.

Both sides of the silicon treated paper are the same, dosnt matter which side you lay down. I actually bought the silicon treated paper at Michael's craft store...if theres one in your area its great because they always send out 40% off coupons in the mail. I would imagine its available in most stores, though.....but I havent really checked. Just read the box, if its treated, it will say so.:)
