As many of you know I am a big pin trader/collector. I have a large collection of Paris pins including the set that is being released for teh countdown to the 15th anniversary. Disney announced this morning that theyare releasing a jumbo pin on thursday the 12th which I had not caluclated on.
Is anyone going to be there then who could pick me up one. I could send the money by paypal or post office transer andd it would be posted to a friend in the UK.
The pins costs 45 euros.
Thanks for looking

Bonitatime, I will arrive at DLp on the 12th, and am willing to help you. Can you PM me the details about the pin?

ETA: where can I find info on the releases???

After the announcement I got about what's going to happen on the 12th, I am determined to be there at 9.30 (so that my mom has the time to buy her AP) and I should have enough time to go pin-shopping first!

Bonitatime, I am very very ashamed to ahve to announce a very sad news
I don't have the pin :( Due to some accidents while driving to DLP (we left at 5.15 to be sure to be in time) we arrived later than planned. I ran from one boutique to another, but they all told me that the pins were sold out in a matter of seconds/ minutes. Apparantly, people were lining up 30 minutes before the stores opened, and not even all of them got pins.
The Disneyland hotel boutique had 7, the big store in the Village had 40, ... They were all out after 2-3 minutes. :headache:

In the afternoon, the pins were already available on the black market, aka the patio seating at Victoria's, where they sold them for 2-3 times the price, it was crazy.

I am so so very sorry  :( :sad2:

On Saturday, a pin pack was released, I was way earlier at the Village, but still, once again they were sold in just minutes. I guess next time I'll take my sleeping bag and will sleep in front of the store. :confused3

Don't worry I was talking to others and knew it was a real rush to get them. I will trade for it at some stage.

This sounds like the panama cruise there were loads of people queueing all night to get their pins.

Is this the one you're after Nikki ?

There are a few of them on Ebay although they are fetching some pretty high prices. Hoe you manage to get hold of one. :)

Yes its lovely but not at the prices they are looking for. If you want a pin and dont get it at the release you need to wait a while and the price wil tend to go down after the rush buying happens. The difficulty witht this one it there are only 400 released.

Some pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for you, hope you'll soon be able to get it at a more reasonable price.

That's just annoying. Shame that genuine collectors miss out.
:pixiedust: for you too Nikki

It is a shame that people buy these things to sell - it just denies the true collectors :sad2:
