LOL. That'd be Jesse Metcalf. My gardner's don't look like him! What're we doing wrong?

Why is it not coming on next week???? The previews were given for "in 2 weeks"....What gives?? I can't wait to see what is going to happen next..

The American Music Awards are on next Sunday in place of the normal lineup ... that's why the 2 week wait

I know, I don't want to wait 2 weeks either! Did you hear what the detective said to Zacks dad?

Spoiler

$5000, shes hurt, $10,000, shes gone! He know who sent the note! I bet its the noisy woman, can't remember her name!

Gabrielle spewing coffee across the table was PRICELESS. Abstinense club --- yah, right! :teeth: :rotfl:

I just caught the show for the first time today. What is up with Bryn's hubby? Is he with someone else? Does he not like women anymore?

Also, I liked that woman tthreating to kicking that one one alpha moms butt! That overbearing play chairwomen! I was like "You go girl.. kick that witche's butt!".. Ok, I didn't say witch or Butt, but you know what I mean.

Because of women like that in my kids former school, made me swore off of PTA's the rest of my kids school career!

I am a fan of the show too. (Havent seen tonights episode yet though...)

LOVE THE SHOW!!!!! I even have my husband watching it. I think he's laughs as much as I do. My favorite part tonight was the comment "And next spring when we do Bambi, his mom is going to take a slug and you're going to like it". :rotfl:

Definitely bummed that we have to wait two weeks till the next show.

I was watching it on regular TV--GASP, no TIVO!--I missed a few things. What was the deal with Mary Alice's son and the girl named Dana? I noticed the blanket (or something) with her name on it at the end, but I missed what MA said about it.

My guess, Dana must have been a child of Mary Alice and somehing happened to her.

Maybe something Zach (zack?) did?

These characters are well written, well formed... all of their quirks are sooo REAL!! To find this much humor in what could be quiet lives is so much fun!

Bree- Marcia Cross she is so funny and a wee bit scary due to her chilly obsessive nature.. she has warmed and drawn us to a character that could have been irritating. I keep thinking that the psychologist WANTS her.
Susan- Terri Hatcher ....clumsy, accident prone, kind Susan.. missed the ''plumber' this week!
Gabriel- Eva Longoriawicked, needy, selfish... but for some reason we cheer for her. Her mother in law is a piece of work.
Lyn-Felicity Huffman (my favorite actress on this show filled to the brim with talented people) I venture to say that most moms who watch this show identify with Lyn. I cheered when she talked back to the head of the school play.. oh ya, we have all run across this woman! LOL! YOU GO LYN!!

The secondary characters on the show show great promise. We WANT to get to know these people and how they relate to the main characters.
Even the nosey neighbor.. I have named her Mrs. Cravitz ala Bewitched! She is a kick in the pants!

The men on the show are not the centerpiece... but they are intertwined in each story. The children are also not the centerpiece... but again are integral parts of the storyline.

Tonight, my DH and my DS-17 watched the show.. they have been quietly coming in for a little bit more of the show each week.
They LOL many times tonight! YAY

As for Desperate Housewives.... ABC you got me hooked!

Joan, I definately agree with your assessment of the characters. In the beginning, I was afraid that they were going to make Susan TOO accident prone, etc. but they've shown us a capable side of her and that's been a pleasant surprise.
One of the things I'm truly enjoying about this show is that they can have you rolling on the floor laughing one moment and then have you in deep drama a moment later. A good example was when Susan was first trying to get Julie (her daughter) to go "undercover" to find Zach and get information. At first, it was a humorous conversation and then it got very sad and real. It's amazing how they can turn on a dime like that.

Line of the week: Lyn (Felicity Huffman): "All those in favor of the woodsman going medival on the wolf's - - -"

Ha- so my theory about the baby may be true?

Or could it be too simple and they are just trying to make us think it's a baby that died?

It doe make sense when you look at Zach and his fathers behavior. But I don't get the $5,000-$10,000 reference by the lawyer. Where does that fit in here?

Hmmmmm.....

2 WEEKS is too long to wait! :)

My favorite line was Bree saying, "Do you know how hard it is to get cheese stains out?"

Love, love, LOVE this show! :teeth:

Forgive me for going right to this detail, but during the scene with Bree and her hubby in the hotel room I SWEAR I saw a little peep show coming out of her bra! I was shocked and had to rewind my DVR and, yes, it was a quick flash (on ABC!). Anyone else catch this?
