I am in desperate need of HELP... We were supposed to be there for Monday the 15th's party and when we were going to buy our tickets it said SOLD OUT....YIKES

I didn't expect this as we did the Monday party last year with no problem. So of course we cannot change our dates and our biggest reason for going on the trip is sold out.

Does anyone who has been to the Sold Out Parties this year know if they release any tickets the day of the party?

Also does anyone know why its crowded for a Monday? Any schools out?

TYIA :goodvibes

The Halloween parties seem to be selling out like crazy....This Friday was available this morning and now Friday the 12th & Tuesday the 23rd are sold out.
Does anyone know why it's seems to be so crazy this year for the parties?

I understand Friday night one's selling out and Halloween day (in the past) but usually the week day ones never sell out.

Is Disney selling less tickets?

Im so confused and shocked.

I'm already outta luck...we were planning on going to the 15th party and its sold out. I had to wait for our party of 10 to get the money together as a few in my party are unemployed and their daughters were trying to work OT, etc...to get the money to treat their moms.

I merged your two party threads together.

If anything, I think Disney is selling more party tickets and more people are going to the event.

Also, they have limited access to meeting multiple Villains in the daytime by doing this crazy "conjure up a Villain" deal at the Carnival/Jamboree/Round-Up/Ranch, where you can only meet one at a time. But they are letting many Villains loose on the party at night, thus giving people more reason to buy tickets to the party. Making the Villains more of a party-exclusive thing creates more interest in buying MHP tickets.

Thanks Sherry, I was wondering why I saw both my posts in the same thread :goodvibes

This is such a bummer though. I was going to buy tickets last week but I didn't have everyones money and I couldnt afford to buy them and get paid later.

I felt like this when I saw the SOLD OUT :badpc:

Oh well, lesson learned in case I plan on going next year. I will just buy my tickets and forget everyone else! :rotfl:

I know how you feel.:badpc::rotfl2: Even though I wasn't waiting on many people to scrape up cash to get tickets to go (unlike your situation), I kept tossing around the dates in my mind and trying to weigh the pros vs. cons of each of the nights I was considering. One by one, slowly but surely, the nights I was considering kept selling out. And now the rest of them are selling out more/faster than they used to in the past, so my choices are becoming more limited and I will end up being stuck with a date I didn't want.

I am blaming it all on the Villains!:rotfl2: If they hadn't suddenly become more elusive and exclusive, I wonder if the MHP would be quite as sought after.

Unfortunately, that is a lesson I have learned in life as well. Ask, but if you don't get an answer in a timely manner (or don't get the money in a timely manner), go ahead and get the tickets for your own family and let the others worry about themselves. I hope you guys are able to get tickets on the day of the party.

Its absolutley crazy! :faint:

I was hoping they will announce tickets for sale the day of because when I went to the party about 3 yrs ago (the 1st year in disneyland) they did that and it was already sold out.

But I'm thinking now that those chances are not looking good because no one from past sold out events are chiming in.

We went to the first party this year on Sept 28. There were signboards on the Esplanade from early in the morning that said the party was sold out. We did ask a CM if someone was in the park and decided they wanted to go to the party if they could buy tickets and they said "no."

Overall, there seemed to be more people visiting DLR - the parks were busier than we've seen during previous end of September/early Oct trips.

Thanks for the response

Im so sad

It's Canadian Thanksgiving so that could be part of the reason the parks are crowded.

Today is canadian Thanksgiving right not the 15th?

Im trying to plan something else to do for that Monday since we dont come home till tuesday..

I have an AP but most of my party was just buying the 2 day hopper then the party ticket so now they will have to upgrade to a 3 day pass or we do something else.

Right, it is today. :)

Oops, didn't realize the OP said the 15th. lol I thought she was talking about today. Sorry!

I heard if you are staying at a DL hotel, you may be able to buy party tickets the day of the party. From what I understand, their ticket booths will open at 6am with party tickets. I also hear they sell like hot cakes.

Another option is doing the Happy Haunts tour plus event package. The tour takes you on HMH, GG, ToT, and one other attraction who's name escapes me. You get a treat and a pin, too, along with fun spooky facts about DL and Halloween. The tour takes you to get your wristband for the party.

It'll be cheaper for them to do a 3-day hopper than a 2-day plus a party, unless you get some discount, plus they can just go to DCA during the party. They'll get 3 full days in the parks instead of 2 and a party. (Trying to find the bright side for you guys. I saw that Friday's was going to sell out so I bought tix yesterday, figuring it'd be better to have them and decide to sell them than to want them and have them not be available. Of course, now the kids know so we won't likely be deciding to sell them and do something else.)

Well, I guess that makes our decision for us. We weren't sure if it would be worth the $ since my son doesn't stay up very late. I guess we'll be at DCA on the 19th!

WOW! The little birdie on my shoulder telling me not to worry, these things won't sell out early was sure chirping the wrong song!
Because my dates were locked for the last Friday in OCT, I bought my tickets early. Felt kind of silly buying them the 1st day they became available. . . now, not feeling so silly.
What is weird, is that date I thought would sell out early - is currently available. (Oops! Maybe I shouldn't have said anything out loud. *crossing fingers* for low-ish crowds) :lmao:
