Hi!

I know I should have double checked my order but I was in such a hurry to get my order in and my haste cost me. I totally admit I was careless and I'm hoping someone can help me because I can't remember the exact details. Here is my dilemma.

There were two special offers for the photopass CD. One was either $20.00 off or 20% off a photopass CD with all of our professional park pictures on it. The other offer was a free (or at least a heavy discount) CD with 300 professional pictures from all of the parks. I thought I had ordered the full price photopass CD and the park CD (either free or heavily discounted) of the 300 pictures.

My order came today and I only got the photopass CD and paid full price for that. The codes were something like jan20cdt and jancd...? I can't remember the codes although I wrote them down (but of course threw the codes away after I placed my order). I'm going to e-mail photopass and plead my case but it would be most helpful if I had the correct information and/or the codes to help.

Did anyone take advantage of either of these January offers who might be able to give me the exact details before I write to them?

Thanks so much!

Suz

My guess is, whether you know what the codes are or not, without you having some sort of record of your order you are at their mercy as far as what you ordered.

Didn't you print anything out after you placed the order? What was charged to your credit card?

I was in a hurry. We had company from out of town and I knew the offer expired at the end of the month. I wanted to get the order in. I did it on my laptop which doesn't have printer access and I knew that a copy of the order would be sent via e-mail. They charged the full amount of the one CD to my credit card. I just don't want to call and plead my case without the exact details. My problem was that I was trying to determine if their system would let me use both codes (it wouldn't) and I think that somehow I must not have "applied" the code.

You may be right about them not doing anything about it, but if I don't ask then they definately won't do anything about it right? Never hurts to ask. It was an honest mistake and often people recognize that and will help you out.

Thanks anyway 'though. If there's anyone who knows the exact details of the offer that would be great.

i don't have the codes, but just call them up and ask them about it. You'll probably get a lot further than by email. Although i heard it's tough to get some one on the line.
They should be nice enough to help you out.

When I called for a problem with a code not working for the extra CD, they sent it out immediately, no charge. I received an email confirmation of a new order. I found the customer service to be very easy to talk to and work with. I wouldn't be worried yet, wait until they contact you first.

Where did you find the codes? I need to order soon if I'm going to and full price is not really in my budget.

Thanks,

Sheila

Tinker'n, thanks for the reassurance. My biggest thing is that I didn't want to sound like a dork when I call them as I can't remember the exact details of the offer. I know I sound like a complete flake, but I had two weeks of company with my sister, her two kids 3 & 1, plus her dog (which was all really fun, but caused me to not think straight). In addition, our Dad who has mid-stage Alzheimer's has come to live here and I'm maxed out mentally trying to keep track of everything for him. :dance3: (this emoticon is exactly how I feel most days. Goofy grin on my face and dancing in circles wishing there were three of me )

Anyway, enough whining. I just couldn't remember if it was a discount on the CD with the 300 professional pictures of just park attractions or if that CD was in fact free (which is what I'm thinking it was).

Sheila, the discount codes were right on the photopass website under special offers. They don't have a great one on the photopass CD right now but keep checking.

Thanks again everyone. As usual, if there is someone who remembers the particulars of the offer I'd love to not sound like a bigger fool than I already am. :worship:

I am sure everything is fine. Please update us and let us know how it went. I am sure since the code is right on the page the customer service rep will know it. If not, you just have to stay calm and ask for a supervisor. Sometimes, the person on the phone just isn't "in the know" if you "know" what I mean. This is for you and the week you had!:flower3:

Well, I there was a voicemail for me this morning from Photopass. They came through! She had me put the park CD in my cart and gave me a special code to make it free (which is really what I thought the special was so I'm glad I wasn't off my rocker). That saved me $39.95. Hooray for disney!:cheer2: Thanks for everyone who replied. I'm off to watch the snow fall. We're predicted to have 12-18 inches by tomorrow. I LOVE a snowy day!
