I'm worried with you and have said prayers. Having a dh who is in construction and alot of friends with these types of businesses, sometimes stress and business problems can get very bad. I've seen guys snap and walk away from it all for a time. Sometimes the mess seems unfixable. On top of it it's not like working for somebody else. All of your sub contractors and customers know where you live and can call or visit your home. Sometimes getting away seems like the only solution. I'd bet that's what happened. It has happened to guys who seem like everything is fine. They're self employed and few if any people know how bad things really are and they are busy keeping it together for eveyrbody else.

So I assume he's not anwering cell phone? Or using ATM or credit cards? And didn't show up for work or appts today.

Has anyone driven the routes he might have taken? Heavy vegatation would make it hard to see if a veh was off the road.

New girlfriend?

Like to go fishing or head up to the mountains or beach---when he needs to get away? Any old childhood favorites places? Or just keep driving? Will local tv & radio station post his description & veh description for you yet?

Favorite radio station he listens to? If you think he might have just taken a long ride, maybe dedicate a song that might mean something to him....and ask him to call if he hears it?

Any items missing from home? Overnight bag? Toothbrush? Meds?
