ok - WDW would be perfect but it's been poo-pooed in favor of someplace different :o
We are 4 adults who need to avoid boring the kids to death. They are 13, 9 & 8. The entire weekend doesn't have to revolve around them but we need to keep them reasonably entertained. We need someplace east of the Mississippi. I am at a loss. I keep coming back to WDW or Orlando or someplace else in FL. (FL is not out but someplace else might be a nice change)
Any suggestions?

We went to NYC last year and saw the Macys & did Christmas shopping in Manhatten. ToysRUs is cool.
PS We FROZE at the Macys. I recommend snowsuits and boots if you go. Also I wish I would had bought those heat packs. My then 5yodd would have enjoyed the parade more.

OK a beach sounds much more fun!;)

We spent 5 days at Vero Beach a week before Thanksgiving a few years back. It was wonderful! We stayed at DVC. They have a nice pool area, bikes, all kinds of activities for different ages, and the beach. It was very nice, and a lot of fun. There are great restaurants around there too, including the two inside the hotel. It was plenty warm enough for us (we lived in Phoenix) to be swimming and on the beach.

Universal Studios? We'll be there Thursday till Sunday the off to WDW. Sounds like a compromise? Works for all invovlved.
